Professor David Gutmann is President of the International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (IAGP)
He is Executive Chairman of Praxis International (Advisers in Leadership) and Executive Vice-President of International Forum for Social Innovation and an adviser to numerous leaders and managers of companies and other institutions in France and abroad. He is Visiting Professor and Director of the programme “Leading Consultation” on the MPhil and PhD programmes at the School of Management, University of Bath, UK.
He is a Chevalier de la Légion d’ Honneur and a ski instructor!
His work has been inspired by W. Bion and J. Chasseguet-Smirgel, his founding psychoanalyst.
During the eighties, he was staff at the Leicester Conferences (co-sponsored by the Tavistock Institute and the Tavistock Clinic) and continues to direct international conferences on the themes of Leadership, Institutional Transformation, and TransformAction throughout Europe, Middle East, West Indies, and Americas.
